Health insurance rates!! UGH!! I almost feel like Charlie Brown. That happened to be one of my favorite comic strips growing up. Whenever it came on tv, I was glued to it. What would a Charlie Brown cartoon says about health insurance rates? I imagine it would be the adult in the school talking about it because you didn’t see their parents.
It was about three weeks ago that I discovered this information. Let me apologize for not sharing it here sooner. Own Your Health Care had a local conference we participated in. Of course, upon our return and recuperating, we are still catching up on many things.
For those of you who follow this site and our blog component, you are already aware that I am always reading about Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act. From year to year, I have continued shaking my head in disbelief about how much is not happening for people. I digress.
I have always been following what is happening with insurance rates, when I saw the proposals for Colorado several questions came to mind:
- Who do they think will be able to afford these new proposed rates?
- For those people who thought they could afford insurance for 2016 and cancelled, will they even attempt to get health insurance for 2017?
- Will the state of health insurance return to there being more people UNINSURED than insured?
Let me share the rates with you for Colorado. Prepare yourself if you haven’t seen this already.
