We at Own Your Health Care, LLC have been watching the news reports online and offline. Everyone is reporting that there’s a huge surge of people enrolling for health insurance. Could this be? Let us ask you the following questions:
1) If there’s a huge surge, then why do you need to extend the deadline for people to enroll to meet the numbers projected?
2) How many are currently enrolled that are “BRAND NEW” to health insurance versus re-enrollments?
3) How many people did not re-enroll because of the price?
4) Let’s go back to #1, since you can only be penalized from February 1, 2016 forward (there are some exceptions) for not having health insurance, would there really be a need to extend the enrollment deadline to December 31?
Did you take those news stories at face value? We look at the stories and then wonder, what is the truth? For example, how many people will not pay those premiums once they hit?
How many people will discover after paying those premiums for two months, that they can’t comfortably pay that amount?
We know the ONE TIME penalty increased. Guess what? So did the cost of health insurance. We didn’t say health care. Oh yes, it is back to that because people have to understand what their options are.
Speaking of options, did you check out our page with all the HEALTH FAIRS listed in 50 states? Go to www.ownyourhealthcare.com/health-fairs . Health Fairs are free to attend. If you need blood work, cholesterol testing, eye exams, etc. some of those may cost a low fee. Yet, you can take care of your health and find out where you stand!!
Oops did we make that PUBLIC? ABSOLUTELY!!! Why? Because people can afford Health Care even without Health Insurance.
We want you to take care of yourself regardless of what happens with health insurance. This is the reason we provide you with resources and even information on where to get it done.
What have your thoughts been as you heard this many people were signing up?
